Sundiata Keita was a 13th-century West African ruler and the founder of the Mali Empire. According to oral tradition, he was unable to walk as a child and was underestimated by many around him. He later overcame those struggles, united the Mandé people, and became one of the most important figures in African history. Sundiata is remembered as a symbol of resilience, leadership, and destiny fulfilled.
